In 1808 the Keferloher stein was invented in Keferloh. This clay stein has the original form of the beer mug. Due to the isolating effect of the clay the beer stays longer cool. A salt varnish creates a special surface which binds the carbonic acid in the drink and the beer is longer fresh. Since 1978, Keferloher steins with yearly changing motives are sold at the Oktoberfest.

Guests can enjoy a chilled Maß in the shade of chestnut trees and occasional sun umbrellas. A [[Maß]] Hell (lager) from [[Paulaner]] costs €...€6. 90 (June 2012), on request tapped into a Keferloher stein. The food stalls offer typical beer garden meals, such as spareribs, [[Obatzda]], [[Leberkäs]] (meat loaf), Würstl (sausages) and [[Steckerlfisch]] (grilled fish on a stick), as well as modern food such as fish fingers, chicken nuggets and Italian pizza, prepared in a genuine pizza oven by a Naples-born pizza baker.
The serviced terrace next to the restaurant building has about 120 seats under a large sun blind. The restaurant kitchen is separate from the self-serviced kitchen and has a higher quality menu than what is offered at the self-serviced food stalls.
