On warm summer days there is an open barbecue grill starting at 4pm. The ordering procedure for guests in the self-service area is to go up and order the meat by the kitchen or by the grill for the meal to be prepared by a service staff who will shout out aloud your order when ready to fetch. There are excellent spare ribs on offer in the self-service area for €5.99. A specialty is “Entenjagd” - a quarter of a duck at €5.99. During the “Wiener Revolution” a large Schnitzel Wiener Art (real veal schnitzel) costs €5.99. The Löwenbräu Helles is €6.50 p/[[Maß]]. Untypical for a beer garden is a Happy Hour which is from 4pm to 6pm as well as from 10pm until closing time. The Löwenbraü maß is then offers a Maß for €5 and kids get their first small soft drink for free. Additionally, an Alter Wirt Ramersdorf Friendship Card is given to regulars who apply for it, offering discounts on some regular menu prices.
The serviced area and restaurant is open from 11.30am 1130am to 11.30pm 1130pm and the self-serviced area from 4pm until the last guests have left. The Alter Wirt Ramersdorf also operates a small hotel with seven rooms decorated in traditional Bavarian style. There is a 15th century church next to the beer garden.
