Schießstätte Allach is located on the bicycle route along the river Würm between Pasing and Dachau. Not too many cyclists are aware of this beer gardenas a possible stop-by. Until a few years ago, the beer garden belonged to the "Königlich Privilegierter Feuerschützenverein" (Royal Privileged Marksmen Club). Schießstätte translates directly to shooting range. The restaurant adjoining the beer garden is over 125 years and the Kaltenberg brewery opened the beer garden to the public in recent years. Unfortunately, not all beer benches are shaded by trees. There are about 500 seats in the self-serviced area. On less busy days the self service food and beer stands are closed and the waitress brings the beverages from the restaurant.
