The Hofbräuhaus is sometimes mentioned as a “beer garden” in editorial reviews about Munich, published by various media. However, such features are incorrect. Only a Wirtsgarten which is serviced by the same kitchen as the beer hall exists in the central courtyard of the famous Hofbräuhaus.
