Cirkuswiese is a small and one of the less busier beer gardens in Munich, situated next to the “Wiesn” where the Oktoberfest takes place. The beer garden is owned by the Hacker Pschorr brewery which has a beer hall, restaurant and serviced beer garden across the road.

This otherwise nice beer garden location is suffering from neglect despite the fact that its management has been taken over by the Hacker Pschorr beer hall across the road recently. The gravel gound is well overgrown by grass. Even while the beer garden is closed the gate remains open and occational visitors include office staff looking for somehere to sit down during breaks to enjoy their lunch packs and drinks while reading a newspaper.

Circuswiese is only open if the weather is good and during the Oktoberfest.
