The Seehaus Schreyegg beer garden is located in the small village of Stegen, on the northern most end of the Ammersee, about 36 kilometres from the centre of Munich. The beer garden is a popular destination for bikers and day-trippers, especially on weekends.

The beer garden is situated directly at the lakeshore, offering an amazing view onto almost the entire length of the lake, with sailing boats cruising on it. On clear days, guests can even see the alps. The self-serviced area offers about 800 seats on traditional beer garden benches. Another 250 seats on regular tables are available on the served terrace. Both areas are shaded by large, dense chestnut trees. The food stall of the self-serviced area offers various beer garden snacks such as Obatzda, Wurstsalat (sliced sausages in vinegar) and Hendl (roasted chicken). A friends special for groups of ten people or more includes spareribs and one barrel of beer for drawing directly at the table (EUR ...). The beer served is Hacker-Pschorr and a Maß Hell (lager) costs EUR 6.20.

Seehaus Schreyegg is an ideal venue for private parties and other festivities hosted in the sea pavilion, panorama parlour or idyllic fish parlour with a cosy, tiled stove.

About 200 metres from the beer garden is a pier, from where guests can participate on a round trip of the Ammersee onboard a paddle wheeler. There is also the possibilty to hire a paddle boat for a more private excursion. Just next to the beer garden is a public swimming place with a lawn for sunbathing.
