With 8,000 seats under gigantic chestnut trees, Hirschgarten is Munich's largest beer garden. Traditions include that beer mugs are washed by the guests themselves! Traditional beer garden food at reasonable prices is sold at food stalls in the self service area. Highly recommended is the Steckerlfisch from Fischer-Vroni, a grilled "fish on a stick".
