Augustiner-Keller with about 5,000 is the largest beer garden in Munich. The beer garden opened in 1812. Like most beer gardens it has a waitress serviced areas as well as a self serviced area where you can also bring your own home cooked food. The beer comes straight out of wooden barrels.
