Olympia-Alm was originally a small kiosk opened at the time of the 1972 Munich Olympics. Today Olympia-Alm has transformed into a small beer garden. At 564 metres above sea level, it is the highest located beer garden in Munich.
Guests can order food from the kitchen or enjoy their own home cooked food at any of the tables below the shade of large sun umbrellas. Occasionally, guests will bring a freshly filled Maß over to the green lawn which is part of the surrounding park area. The beer served is by the Ayinger brewery and a Maß Hell (lager) costs € 6.60 (July 2016).
