This beer garden has changed management in 2011 and is now known as Paulaner Seegarten.

Seeblick has existed since 1975 and is located by the small Karlsfelder Lake 16km from the centre of Munich, close to the town of Dachau. The beer garden is a popular stop-by for swimmers, sunbathers and picnickers spending a day at the lake.

The beer garden is more of a lakeside kiosk than a traditional Munich beer garden, partly due to its lack of chestnut trees and the existence of a stone-tile floor instead of a typical beer garden gravel ground. That said, the self service area maintains the Bavarian tradition of permitting guests to bring their own home cooked food. There are about 200 seats all with views of the lake, divided approximately equally between the self-serviced area with traditional beer garden benches and a serviced terrace with regular tables and chairs. The beer served from the tap is Paulaner and a Maß Helles (lager) costs €6.20.

The beer garden is open everyday when the weather is good throughout the summer from 10am.
